About me

Having never baked a cake before, I began baking on my eldest daughters 1st birthday, eventually I started making cakes for close friends and family allowing me to really start developing my skills.

On the 1st November 2016 I started up LilyRoseCakes, allowing me to start turning my skills into a business. At the start I was mostly baking and designing birthday celebration cakes, but my passion really lies with wedding cakes, large celebration and sculpted cakes.

Since then, over the past number of years i have been able to improve my skills and utilise my passion for art and sculpting using edible mediums, i have also been honoured to not only be nominated but to win my first award (Wedding cake designer of the year 2020/2021) at the Top Tier wedding awards, as voted only by brides and grooms who have had their dream cakes made by LilyRoseCakes.
